new years resolutions

I've never been one to make serious new year's resolutions. In fact, I think a year is too long to set a goal. I think you need more realistic time frames, like a month or a semester, in order for things like resolutions to actually be achieved. Yet, here I am making new year's resolutions. A new year/semester seems like a good time to be making them, so why not. If they don't work, it's not like I lost anything, right? Anyways, here they are.

1. be better at blogging. I was really good at it when I was in Paris and definitely want to do it when I'm in BOSTON!! but I guess I just feel like I am just another, average college student who has nothing to blog about, which is not true. I live a crazy life and want to document my last semester.

2.Become a runner. If you know me, you know that I am not a runner. In fact, until about a month ago, I had never run more than a mile in my entire life. It's December and I've just registered to run the Shamrock 8k. Maybe sometime I'll run a half marathon. Maybe.

3.Become a saver. Right now, I am lucky enough not to have to really worry about money. I mean, I have a limited income, but it definitely pays for my necessities and then some. I am never wealthy, but I am hardly ever broke. Come August, that is going to change and my income is going to be extremely small. I am going to have to learn how to save and budget. ASAP.

I think those three are pretty good. Any more and I think I'd be setting my sights too high. When I get back to school, I'll have to post them somewhere so I see them daily. Someone remind me to do that....
