weekend post 2: boston thanksgiving

Here's the second post of the day dedicated to our team Thanksgiving dinner, pictures and all.

People showed up around five thirty (fashionably late I suppose) with food in hand. Everyone except Margaret came (she was sick) and we all crammed into our common room.  There were three dishes of mashed potatoes, stuffing, two dishes of mac n cheese, salad, cranberry dressing, a chicken and rice dish, sparkling champagne (no drinking when the bosses are around), a banana chocolate chip walnut bread, and a pumpkin pie.  Even though we didn't have a turkey, we had more food than could ever be finished.  We watched SVU, hung out and ate our body weight in food. I had not really eaten anything all day in preparation, so I was starving when we started and stuffed to the brim when we finished.  After we were done, we played a game of fishbowl (a combination of catch phrase and charades), which was fun. My team, mainly Erica, is really competitive and when you put us on teams against each other.  It was hilarious and so much fun.

I have become so thankful for these eleven people (even Danielle) these past few months.  As you can see, the work we do isn't easy and I have been so supported and loved from the minute we became a team.  I honestly don't know what I would do without them. They may drive me crazy at times, but they are my family here and I wouldn't make it without them.
