It's here! Spring semester has finally arrived. Tomorrow is my last first day of school and the end of winter break. I was even a little sad today driving back knowing that it would be my last drive back from Virginia Beach to JMU as a student. While I was sad to leave home, I was more than excited to get back. I literally love every thing about JMU. If there is one thing I learned over winter break, it's the fact that I have become extremely independent and do not like depending on other people to do things for me or work with me. I am so glad to get back to the independent lifestyle that comes with being a college student. There is no one sitting there telling me what to do and not to do. It's something that I've gotten so used to that each time I go home, it gets more and more difficult to adjust.
As far as school goes, I'm pumped for this semester and the classes I'm taking. My goal is straight A's and while it's going to be a lot of work, it's possible. I love the first week of classes and the potential that comes with it. Now, if only I knew what to wear.....
P.S. I just turned on the TV and there was a baby named Palin, named after the one and only. That poor child....
