Wacky Week

This week was Wacky Week for the middle schoolers and each day had a theme.  Monday was wacky hair day, Tuesday was mismatch day, yesterday was pajama day and today was twin day.  This week has been hilarious because the kids' outfits have been hilarious and they've been really into it!

Most of the days have been for the middle schoolers, but my first graders had pajama day yesterday and every single one of them (including the new kid) showed up in some sort of pajama.  I just wanted to snatch them up and snuggle with them they were so cute! KC had Cars 2 pajamas, which fit him perfectly. They're all so freaking cute...most of the time.

We haven't been allowed to participate in Wacky Week, per  Danielle's instructions. Anyways, yesterday in CC, I was asking MO who he was going to be twins with since he was in pajamas.  When he said he didn't have anyone to be twins with, I jokingly (but kind of seriously) said, "Well you could be twins with me. We have tons of City Year jackets in the office that you could wear for the day." I didn't think he would be interested, but he said he would be twins with CITY YEAR if he could wear a jacket. I told him to go to the City Year office tomorrow morning before he got checked for his dress code and we would hook him up.

He wore the jacket around all day and absolutely loved it! He rocked that jacket! We took a picture and it's now the background on my phone. I'm so proud of MO because he's come such a long way this year and is definitely found a special place in my heart.
