After much anticipation, lots of practice, and even more laughter, the NHCS corps members put on a pretty incredible (if i do say so myself) MCAS rally. We did it first for lower school and it was so much fun. First, Pat, Margaret and Nick rapped words to a rap song I had never heard, but it was really good. Then, Pat, Meg, Sam, Angela, Nick, and I danced and sang "You're a scholar and you know it" to the tune of "I'm Sexy and I Know It." The little ones went crazy laughing and bouncing around, while the fourth and fifth graders were shouting and jumping up and down saying "Look at Mr. Underhill!" "Mr. Black's a rapper!" and so on. It was fun. We also did it for the middle schoolers and you can just imagine the commotion it caused. People could barely control their body because they were just so excited.
Erica filmed the whole thing so here are the links(watch upper school for the whole thing). You should DEFINITELY check it out. I laughed throughout the whole thing and looked absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure I'll never live it down by my middle schoolers or my first graders, but it was so worth it!

Also, a very happy birthday to my mom! I am so happy, honored and blessed to have you as my mom. I love you so much and look up to you in so many ways. You have been my shoulder to lean on this year (and the past 23), my riding buddy, and a fantastic friend! Happy birthday! I hope you had a great day!
